Bob Moved!

Today is moving day for Bob. After several years of planning, the Office of General Counsel is now moving to the second floor of the Church Office Building. The offices are very nice, and Bob’s office will now be in the same area as all of the other OGC people. Previously, his office was located in an entirely separate department area. It was interesting to watch how the workmen framed in the new offices by laying metal strips right on the carpet and inserting prefab walls that are thin, but connect as room dividers to make offices. The workmen have systematically moved the entire contents, including desks, trading one office for another,  one office at a time. It's fortunate that the elevator is now installed. Bob will now have a better view from his new  second floor office window. In fact, I just called him on his cell phone, and he opened his window and waved to me as I stood on our balcony. It will be nice to be able to see him working in his office from time to time.
